MMMNMMEXPANSION PROGRESS REPORT!
On August 22nd, 2017 CCHS was open for business at our new
location in downtown Lindstrom, MN! Our new physical
address is 12795 Lake Blvd.
Our phone number (651) 257-5310 and the PO Box 146,
Lindstrom, MN mailing address did not change.
In November we began the work needed to expand into our
adjoining space that previously was home to Gordy's Cards &
Gifts. Our remodeling plans include adding convenient access
between the office / research center, the creation of a small
'General Store' , and the local history museum areas.
Volunteers are currently in the process of setting up history
displays. With all the summer events and festivals behind us,
the directors, staff, and volunteers are now focused on this
next phase during the winter months.
CCHS is now open four days a week! You can visit us on
Tuesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Thursday and Friday
from noon until 4:00 pm. We added Saturday hours from 9:00
am to 3:00 pm. Stop by and visit us on any of these days!
Volunteers are needed to help the society expand into
additional days and hours. Give us a call if you are interested
in greeting visitors and directing them to our research library
CCHS is also looking for individuals or groups who would like
to sponsor their own collection or exhibit. Our idea is to help
promote others who are partners in preserving the history of
our area. Give us a call to discuss your ideas!.
